A docudrama featuring dramatized re-enactments of actual events in the life of the Pharaoh, Akhenaten. It reveals the untold truth of ancient Egypt’s only monotheist pharaoh and his son King Tut. We aim to keep Akhenaten’s calling alive and remain echoing his words of love towards the One God and amongst us, as we are living in this life with each other and for each other. Founded in 2020 by Dalia ElAbd, a visionary film director, music composer and the founder of Blessing Films Production Company. Her creative journey is a testament to perseverance and passion for storytelling. Dalia holds multiple prestigious degrees, including MA in Filmmaking from Raindance London and De Montfort University, MA in International Relations from the University of Nottingham, and MA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo. Before transitioning to filmmaking, Dalia spent 17 years working in the marketing field where she accumulated experience in building brands via storytelling. Dalia also has a rich academic career where she has been an adjunct professor at Misr International University in Cairo for more than 17 years, lecturing film directing, supervising graduation projects in radio and television and integrated marketing communication modules. Dalia possesses unique and visionary style in film directing coupled with creativity and innovative thinking. As a first-time filmmaker, she achieved official selection at the Toronto International Women Film Festival and garnered two nominations at Cannes World Film Festival and LA Independent Women Film Awards. Her outstanding contributions to the arts and culture earned her the Study UK Alumni Awards for Culture and Creativity, as well as the prestigious UK Chevening Scholarship. As the founder of Blessing Films Production Company, Dalia continues to push the boundaries of storytelling and inspire emerging artists. Her artistic vision is driven by her desire to create works that stand the test of time. Her life’s journey serves as a beacon of hope for those seeking to transition to a creative field, demonstrating that with determination and hard work, it's never too late to pursue one's passion.
